If someone asks me where they can experience the true spirit of Detroit, this is one of my first recommendations.
If you're in Detroit and want the best local bands, guaranteed fun, and a night you can't stop smiling, this is the place.
It's my go-to whenever I need my fix of Motown, the '70s, '80s, '90s, and more. Great music, great people, and an unforgettable Detroit vibe.
My Tip: Go when live music is playing and simply enjoy the moment.

White Horse Inn | Metamora
I'll admit it—I don't eat much meat.
But White Horse Inn is the exception.
Their roast beef, homemade mashed potatoes, and grilled cheese are classic comfort food at its finest. Every meal feels like Sunday dinner with family, and it's well worth the drive.
And whatever you do...
Don't leave without trying the Maple Oatmeal Pie.
